Watch: Yuzvendra Chahal felicitated by Haryana CM for T20 World Cup victory | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honored leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who competed for India in the T20 World Cup, on Thursday.
The Chief Minister thanked the Indian spinner on their victory and gave Chahal a scarf and an idol.
Despite being a member of the 15-man squad, Chahal did not play in any of India’s games during their winning run.

India implemented a change in their playing XI following their convincing victory in the Super 8 match on a challenging New York surface thanks to pacers.
In the West Indies, Kuldeep Yadav was picked over Chahal in the playing XI because of pitches that proved to be duel-faced, as per ANI.
Following Mohammed Siraj‘s removal, the ‘Chinaman’ spinner emerged with performances that won contests, taking ten wickets at an economy rate of 6.95 in five games.
India defeated South Africa in the final at Barbados to become the first side to win the T20 World Cup without losing any match.
