The Vedanta Kalinga Lancers will face Team Gonasika in a Hockey India League 2024 match at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela on Thursday.
Defending champion Lancers enters the match on the back of a dominant 6-0 victory over Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers. It currently sits sixth on the table with four points from four matches.
Team Gonasika, meanwhile, comes off an 11-goal thriller against the Tamil Nadu Dragons, narrowly losing 5-6. Gonasika is seventh in the standings, level on points with the Lancers but trailing on goal difference.
