Spain beat France 2-1 in the Euro 2024 semifinal on Tuesday to become the first team to book a spot in Euros final.
Spain becomes the first team in Euros to win six games in a row and reach the final of the tournament.
France opened the scoring in the eighth minute as Kylian Mbappe’s cross from the left wing was met by a header by Kolo Muani into the net.
Lamine Yamal equalised in the 21st minute after a left-footed curler from outside the box struck the post and went in, beating France’s keeper Mike Maignan.
Four minutes later Dani Olmo scored the winning goal as his shot was deflected into the net by French full-back Jule Kounde.
Lamine Yamal became the youngest ever player to score a goal in Euros history and also beat Pele’s record of the youngest player to score in a major international tournament.
This was Olmo’s fourth goal as he becomes the leading goal scorer of Euro 2024 at the moment.
