NEW DELHI: The stylish Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana maintained her fifth-place ranking, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur and the flashy Shafali Verma both benefited from their outstanding performances and were tied for eleventh in the most recent ICC WT20I rankings, which were released on Tuesday.
With four Indians in the top 20, Shafali leapt four spots and Harmanpreet gained a spot on the batters’ list. Jemimah Rodrigues is the fourth player, sitting at 19th place. The big-hitting Richa Ghosh is 24th on the list, as per PTI.
With 769 points, Beth Mooney is still atop the batting standings.
Off-spinner Deepti Sharma remains steady at number three on the bowlers’ rankings, while seamer Renuka Singh jumped to number nine. Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav is ranked 20th.
